DR. JUAN CABANILLAS GONZALEZ
Welcome to our group web-site. We focus our research on the photophysical characterization with time-resolved spectroscopy of novel luminescent materials and their application to laser resonators and fluorescent chemical sensors. We carry out our research activity at IMDEA Nanociencia in collaboration with several existing in-house expertises.
OUR LATEST RESEARCH
Spontaneous and stimulated emission properties of conjugated polymer blends are promoted through exciton transport disruption. The insertion of phenyl units reduces backbone planarity, exciton diffusion and annihilation losses.

Check out our joint publication with Max-Plank Polymer institute on stimulated emission properties of cove-edge nanographenes in solution and solid state in Angewandte Chemie.
