DR. JUAN CABANILLAS GONZALEZ

Welcome to our group web-site. We focus our research on the photophysical characterization with time-resolved spectroscopy of novel luminescent materials and their application to laser resonators and fluorescent chemical sensors. We carry out our research activity at IMDEA Nanociencia in collaboration with several existing in-house expertises.

OUR LATEST RESEARCH

Spontaneous and stimulated emission properties of conjugated polymer blends are promoted through exciton transport disruption. The cover illustrates two alike polymer assemblies, the one on the right (left) bearing two (none) phenyl twisting units that reduce backbone planarity and hinder packing, leading to a reduction in exciton diffusion and annihilation losses.
